26 five-set matches already at #RolandGarros
Most ever is 37 at Wimbledon 2024.

We’re still not even through the third round in Paris!
Original stand rule was bad. Coaches find ways to counter it. AFL add layers to stand rule to counter coaches. Here we are. Players and umpires confused. Ridiculous 50's sucking life out of games.
It’s a privilege to say I’ll be commentating my third World Cup. Excited to see how the Socceroos go and to hopefully bring you many fantastic football moments on the radio. #FIFAWorldCup ⚽️
Comparing Richmond rebuilds:
Under Hardwick (had 987 games experience in his fourth game as coach) - won his 8th game in his 28th as coach.
Under Yze - Game 50 next week, 7 wins. Minimum games experience has been 1,452.
Cause for concern?
Glaring stat from a Richmond point of view…
Tigers win percentage in games decided by 5 points or less since 2020 - 18.2% - ranked 18th in #AFL
Since 2010 - 24.4% - ranked 18th by a country mile
As a millennial, I grew up where Friday nights were on Channel 9 before 7 got the rights back. Dennis Cometti featured on all of them.
He was THE voice for me growing up and one of the reasons why I’ve always wanted to become a broadcaster.
The world has lost a legend. RIP 😢
You have no idea what it’s like to live with a chronic injury and still choose to keep going. To wake up everyday not knowing how your body will respond, searching for solutions, and fighting for something you love and give everything even when it’s so difficult. Trust me I’m the first one suffering with pain and having endless nightmares to try to find solutions every single day and for me after all stepping on a tennis court, makes worth everything every time. So I’ll keep trying. Because it’s all about trying and that won’t change. I’ll always try one more time.
I’m doing this for my passion and for myself. And if there’s even a 1% chance to keep going, I’ll take it. That’s just how I see and understand life.
If you don’t like it, you don’t have to follow me.
And I’m so sorry to inform you I won’t retire so you’ll keep seeing me for a while. Change channel next time.
If this weekend doesn’t show you again why #DavisCup, and #BJKCup for that matter, needs to go back to the home and away format then I don’t know what does.
Atmospheres, narratives, national pride. It’s magical.
