Another independent review found massive waste—including trips to gyms, cigar bars and nightclubs, plus hundreds of thousands of dollars in prohibited international travel.

Hundreds of billions in cost overruns. Zero trains. Zero tracks.

And Gavin Newsom wants taxpayers to keep pouring $1 BILLION a year into it.

Enough is enough. Stop this project.

Today, throughout our community and across America, we remember the nearly 3,000 innocent Americans lost in the terrorist attacks of 9/11, the first responders who ran toward danger, and the men and women who answered the call to defend our nation.

This morning, I joined our community to gather before a steel beam from the World Trade Center, standing as a lasting reminder of that day—a witness to tragedy, sacrifice, and courage.

“Never Forget” is not just a phrase. It is a promise.

Today in Ridgecrest, we begin to remember those we lost on September 11th and honor the heroes who answered the call. Today’s 9/11 Thousand Flags Remembrance is a powerful reminder of the courage, sacrifice, and patriotism that define our nation.

Nearly twenty five years ago, we remember watching with disbelief, grief and numbness the attacks on the World Trade Center, the Pentagon and the crash of Flight 93 in Pennsylvania. Those images are forever ingrained in our nation’s memory.

But we also remember what came next: courage, selflessness and valor. Ordinary Americans ran toward danger when every instinct told them to run away. That is the character of America at its best.

For our China Lake community who work tirelessly daily to develop and test the capabilities our men and women in uniform need to defend our country - we will always remember.

Through it all, we were a nation that refused to be broken.

We reaffirm a promise that must never fade:

Today, the President met with America’s leading oil refiners and distributors.

The contrast they drew was clear: Democrats attack American energy, shut down refineries, drive up costs, and California is an example.

Marcus Coleman, father of a 7-year-old girl left permanently disabled after an illegal immigrant slammed an 18-wheeler into her vehicle, tore into Democratic lawmakers at a House Judiciary hearing — rejecting their sympathy and holding them personally responsible for his daughter's catastrophic injuries.

"Not one of you guys have ever sat there and seen me in the hallways and said, 'Hey, sorry about your daughter.' You guys do it right here where you guys are grandstanding on top of your soapbox," Coleman said. "This is when you guys care. Right here inside this room is the only time you guys care."

Coleman's daughter Dalilah suffered a fractured skull, broken femur and traumatic brain injury in a 2024 California crash caused by an illegal immigrant from India who had obtained a commercial driver's license in the state. Coleman told lawmakers he's stopped truck driving, is pinching pennies and raising nine children — and he holds every one of them responsible.
