Hey guys,

I want to share a fundraiser for a young woman who has become a personal friend and, along with her family, is suffering immensely in Gaza right now, enduring hunger, sickness, and the elements in a tent-community.

Samah is an intelligent and good-hearted young woman who adores her husband and four children. This war has meant profound suffering for all of them. Her husband, a civilian, was terribly injured in an Israeli airstrike. Her four children lack adequate clothes for the winter; hunger is a daily torment for all of them.

Two of Samah's children have specific health issues. Her nine-year old needs kidney surgery. Her baby, who was born premature, needs diapers and milk. And of course the whole family has a general need to purchase food and shelter (their heavily dilapidated tent urgently needs to be replaced).
