For me personally, 3rd Generation of Pokemon has one of the best OST's of the entire franchise, there are so many great tunes, this Gen is also the start of them releasing the music on CD as part of a "Super Music Collection" series, which is really neat! https://t.co/2L1hV8p4AS
If you'd like it yourself be sure to get it here, the editing and mixing done by them is top notch, thanks again to FirebrandX for there effort, we love this for VGM! They have other great soundtrack rips if you're interested in more! :) https://t.co/vNUX9eX4mN
Nothings beats the iconic OST of Silent Hill 2, Akira Yamaoka has made the best music and sound design for survival horror. Also thanks to @FBXGargoyle for the Complete edition featuring as much in-game tracks not included on official OST releases! https://t.co/lb9IOOS7SG
Earlier this year the great Kazuo Sawa, composer of many Technos Japan titles, passed away, he's got a stacked catalog but his NES/Famicom era is among the best, and River City Ransom is arguably his greatest OST! Let us forever enjoy the OST's he created! https://t.co/eNGJ20rRHS
F1 Racing Championship on the PS1 is absolutely one of the best and most jammin' soundtracks I've ever heard, literally every track is a banger from beginning to end. The work by Daniel Masson here is just a masterclass of great VGM! https://t.co/2r1BCcSY5o
I know past few posts have all been Sonic related but just goes to show how amazing the OST's are for them, here is another visualizer video from the Camamania channel for Sonic 3D Blast on SEGA Saturn, Richard Jacques at his peak here, give this a listen! https://t.co/ENBZKuP7Br
If you've never heard the masterpiece of Secret of Mana+ from Hiroki Kikuta it's a must listen if you love his work and the SoM soundtracks. Pretty much a single 50 minute track of arranged tunes from Seiken Densetsu 2 & 3 in a prog rock style, pure bliss. https://t.co/nBvsaAui6r
Now to share the lovely visualizer for the US version of the Sonic CD OST, there is certainly not enough love for it and majority of the OST done by Spencer Nilsen & David Young is great, they don't get enough love for it! All the composers here did great! https://t.co/9IKl8Sf3ZF
For context, Green Lantern was a SNES being worked on by Ocean, until it was unfortunately canceled, composer Dean Evans would repurpose a number of tunes worked on for that game for Waterworld (his greatest work IMO), definitely check out all his work he's done!
A FASCINATING thing just happened yesterday, Dean Evans just posted a new track from the canceled Green Lantern game on SNES he worked on that was just buried away as he put. So happy he still had music from that game lying around to give us! https://t.co/w9eajMgIev
Keep on loving VGM folks! Something I'm also appreciating are videos with active visuals on screen, this visualizer of the amazing Sonic CD JP OST is lovely, all while hearing some of the best tunes Naofumi Hataya & Masafumi Ogata have ever done from SEGA! https://t.co/bueRaGI3ME
Video Game Music mixes are a wonderful way to showcase various tunes of a specific genre/theme, but a mix of one games whole OST is just as equally impressive, check out this "Super Mix" from SebasHCG of the FM-Towns version of the classic VIEWPOINT https://t.co/A5oyQXVM9u
GST Channel is without a doubt one of the best YT channels for VGM mixes, but @gstdaisuki's specialty with the "Artist Features" are an impressive and respectful representation of VGM composers. Tim Follin's feature is still one of the best they've done. https://t.co/hUVwFq0I9e
Want to continue sharing goodness of Jungle and Drum & Bass mixes with this fantastic mix from the YT channel Camaz, this one has becoming increasingly popular as well and showcases riveting tunes of this nature from the PS1 & N64 era https://t.co/yNtXNrBVOT
You've likely seen this channel and its mixes, and from Ryland Kurshenoff comes one of the greatest N64 mixes on YT, centered around Jungle and Drum & Bass and the various sub genres tunes like it on the console, goes to show how influential this stuff was https://t.co/mGtgVdYNAu
Looking for some more VGM goodness and mixes? Check out this great Ambient PS1 mix from @BurstErr0r, lots of neat songs of this genre from the PS1 and really cool visuals. I'll also be sharing more stuff like this going forward. https://t.co/3ExlbfjNYY
If you haven't checked out @gstdaisuki (aka the GST Channel) you absolutely should for some of the best VGM mixes around, need a place to start? No better way than there first mix, a Rave centered SEGA Genesis/Mega Drive mix from there GSTMIX series. https://t.co/3o8JVIgWIk
Hello, been awhile. Definitely want to come back and share more awesome VGM. But for now, check out @gstdaisuki for incredible Genesis/Mega Drive, SNES and Game Gear/SMS mixes, along with Artist Features of game composers. Plenty of tidbits here too!

With such legendary composers as Totaka, Nagata and Minegishi, you got yourself a lovely OST, this is likely a Totaka track but the whole sound did a great job. And shout outs to @stopskeletons whose helped give this specific track more exposure featuring them in there videos! ๐
๐ต "So Kawaii!!" - Mario Artist: Talent Studio (N64DD, 2000) by Kazumi Totaka, Kenta Nagata & Toru Minegishi ๐ต
I mean, the title says it all, a cute song from this Japan and Nintendo 64 Disk Drive exclusive, so sadly not many have heard it, but it's just freaking delightful!
