Errornick

VGBookclub is a game of the month. We choose a game that we play across Reddit, Discord and hopefully here. Im also the "Should they be in 2XKO Guy"

[Errornick @VG_Bookclub]

Alright folks! Game of the month for October is underway! Resident evil 1 (Remake or OG) this is a celebration of the horror series that cemented survival horror! This is also one of my personal top 3 favorite series.

Thanks for anyone supporting us here or on the discord!

@kairosdialga @SonicForcesFam I can agree with this. I have wanted Nintendo to make some form of achievements. With things like Retroachievements, there is certainly a interest in adding challenges to the old Nintendo games. You request that they being local is 100% valid

@LestatFGC I saw your list while scrolling and first thing I thought was "this guy and I should be friends". Pretty solid lists!

[Errornick @VG_Bookclub]

@drcurvy_yt I really wanted to hop in this trend as well but I felt I was a little late to the party. So as a huge RE fan, did you play RE6 coop with a friend? not going to judge just genuinely wondering on that pick

Okay it’s that time, we are voting for our game of the month. What spooky game will make it for October. Thank you for the people who nominated games. I have a goal to try and break 200 votes this time around. Help me make that happen!

[Errornick @VG_Bookclub]

@Poppy2XKO Honestly a perfect pull to help round out the poll for tomorrow. Haven’t had a game quite like Fandango yet on the main headline yet

[Errornick @VG_Bookclub]

Okay it’s that time to figure out what game we will be adding to the calendar. For October nominate a horror or holloween game.

Top two most hearted comments will be added to the poll for tomorrow! That poll will run through a week till the first. Happy hunting gamers

@CalamityPuck So like… This may be my favorite videogame soundtrack of all time. I was waiting a year for recency bias to stop. It has not, Flying waters, lumiere. These songs have not left my playlist once! I know some people thing its overhyped, this game renewed some of my love for RPGs

It’s insane how a single song can capture the feelings of this world. When I think of shadow of the colossus I think of this song playing.

What gaming soundtracks have stuck with you?

[Errornick @VG_Bookclub]

@CountOrlokVGB Ik you have talked about the game before but drop me a song if you want. I haven’t gotten to experience it yet

[Errornick @VG_Bookclub]

@CountOrlokVGB This is a wonderful ending, Its been a bit since I beat the 3D remake but this fits. My personal square favorite soundtrack is FF9. but in not going to argue against the music of any of them.

[Errornick @VG_Bookclub]

@music_videogame Currently been playing this with my videogame club and man the music knows all of the right notes to hit.

Also the art you’re using is amazing and caught my eye

[Errornick @VG_Bookclub]

@PlayStalgiaX A great series I would love to see make its way back again someday. It scratched that open world itch and I even really enjoyed second son. Fingers crossed for a someday

[Errornick @VG_Bookclub]

Kumori, The gecko.
HEIGHT 4.2 m / 13.9 ft
8th colossi

The colossi with the most concept art that I could find. It seems like it took them awhile to decide on size for this beast. Capable of climbing on walls and very dangerous to fight.

How did you deal with Kumori?

[Errornick @VG_Bookclub]

@_atregan Knuckle up! Good game knowledge though, I always was learning new checks with what moves VI could get through

[Errornick @VG_Bookclub]

@anothermarbule Never too late to make em happen! I fully plan to try a cosplay for a con someday but it’s gotta line up right, so for now I just appreciate when good ones come across my feed.

(I think you’d crush a Vincent cosplay)

[Errornick @VG_Bookclub]

@SendNoodlesTV Awesome job! This randomly came across to me but every day is another little win!

[Errornick @VG_Bookclub]

@tonoswitch Awesome job dude! We loved when he came back in Nightreign. Mohg is one of the best designs!

@YunalesckaGames I still have a group of friends that plays this a few times a month. They all just messaged me flipping out. I never would have believed it and I might be playing hots real soon
