Fuck ass propaganda game by AI industry to make you think data centers are actually cool and not massive fucking resource hogs that ruin the areas they're built in
there is a game called "data center" on steam which let's you build and manage your own data center.
this is lowkey genius, the best way to educate people on a new trait. hyperscalers should learn a thing or two from "edutainment".
Crazy how dragon age veilguard got picked by right wingers to be their weekly target when it was released and seems to have never recovered. Its gameplay is some of, if not, the best in the series and everything else is fine if not good. it's like $10 used online. Insane deal
Everyone hating Intel rn is great for people who have ddr4 machines but want an upgrade (albeit a power hungry upgrade) went from a 65w to a 125w CPU. Just glad thermalright makes good affordable solutions
Went from an AMD 3700x to a 14600k and new mobo for $250. Got to reuse my ddr4 and ended up with what (should be) a 50-70% faster CPU with more cores. Cpu-z benchmark has it scoring double on the multi threaded bench. We'll see if the CPU lasts but for now it should be great
Exactly. The entire point of Steam Machine is to standardize ENTRY-level PC gaming at a reasonable level of performance!
Idk if some techtubers have become entirely out of touch with their free 5090s and 6-figure incomes, but "entry" is not $1000 lol.

Took a while of bashing my head against it but finally got a few services configured in lxc containers how I want in proxmox. Time to dive into tailscale maybe. Learning networking is fun
Ditched windows on my main desktop and within two weeks I have a homelab and I'm learning to virtualize services in proxmox. Something something escaping the allegory of the cave...
Growing up in the 90s & early 2000s they wanted us to read, drink milk, play outside, just say no to drugs, reduce, reuse, recycle. Ms. Frizzle was our secondary teacher and Captain Planet was considered a hero. Thatโs the world I grew up in, so seeing where we are now is wild.
@FeoUltima@socpens York scolds multiple characters at different points in the story for not respecting her identity too. The main character is very much supportive of trans identities. Swery also apologized after 2 launched about poor translation in regards to how York speaks on her timeline.
@FeoUltima@socpens The mistreatment she receives from characters in town is a good representation of how small southern towns behave. The more important issue with that character is the kind of dynamic they have with their sibling.
@socpens First game is either a 10/10 or 4/10 depending on if it clicks with you, second game is fine if you want more after the first. Either way it's obvious the first game has more heart than most games and it definitely isn't afraid to be weird.
