Once you've made it through 3 days of total darkness in high humidity without growing mold, you're ready to cut, trim, and finish out the drying process by whatever method you prefer.

@bigd_o_cycler Once I saw new growth starting, I would prune away the most damaged leaves a couple at a time

@bigd_o_cycler Reminds me of one. I would probably see how it does in partial shade and make sure it stays watered but that the soil drains between waterings. If it's being eaten by bugs, a soapy water solution sprayed in the leaves should get rid of them.
