VIA SOLUTIS works with climate ventures on two connected tasks: commercialising technology and developing first commercial projects.
For technology companies: commercial strategy, licensing, partnerships and the organisation to bring a technology to market.
For project developers: the commercial and organisational foundation for a First-of-a-Kind project, with clear responsibilities across the owner and its partners.

Your 1st process license for your climate-tech project can become development work your company cannot afford.
A technology provider licensing a SAF or e-fuels process for its first commercial plant is committing before that implementation has been built and operated. Some design work and scale-up questions may remain unresolved.
Suppose, hypothetically, that further testing shows the proposed reactor design needs more engineering. The licensee expects a revised package within the agreed fee. The licensor budgeted for delivery of the existing design.
The same engineers must now investigate the issue, revise the package and respond to the customer's schedule. Even before the parties settle who owes what, that work consumes cash and capacity.
The customer has a valid need for a workable design. The provider needs obligations it can finance. Leaving the boundary unclear can damage both.
Before signing, I would secure:
🔻 A precise scope: state which development questions remain and which investigations and revisions the fee includes.
🔻 A funded work process: agree authorisation, staffing and payment for additional development, with a temporary arrangement for disputed work.
🔻 A delivery review: reassess schedule and resources when new evidence materially changes the effort required.
The commercial opportunity must come with a credible plan for delivering the commitment.
Who invests in making the first license work?
@Piimag Process data can support both plant control and evidence for fuel certification. Will the system connect each SAF batch to its feedstock and production records?
@eurotransportde Waldbach’s mix of bio-LNG and electric trucks makes route choice part of the investment decision. Which routes give bio-LNG the strongest business case?
@MercedesAMGF1 Keeping HVO available across a moving European operation is useful experience for other fleets. Did you secure supply for the full season, or arrange it race by race?
@CombustionSolut New capacity needs dependable feedstock and buyers before it becomes steady fuel supply. Which is proving harder to secure: long-term feedstock or gas sales contracts?
@GarethFleetNews A multi-depot rollout tests fuel procurement as much as vehicle performance. Did Royal Mail find a workable way to keep HVO costs predictable across its sites?
@TWBFarms The animal-feed output belongs in the economics alongside the ethanol. Could longer-term feed contracts help UK plants and livestock farmers manage price swings?
@ArcadiaeFuel@SimpliFlying Your point on long-term fuel contracts gets to the financing challenge. Could corporate buyers commit for longer than airlines and help make the first plants financeable?
@Nordsol1 Bio-LNG suppliers and hauliers both benefit from predictable fuel demand. Are fleet commitments now long enough to support investment in the next production plants?
@INERATEC_global Testing the first unit helps define what can be repeated at larger scale. Which test results matter most when agreeing the plant’s output guarantees?
@Industry_wiz Exposure trends could help the plant identify recurring problems before they interrupt production. Will the safety data also guide maintenance planning?
@European_Biogas@alainauzet A visible link between local waste and vehicle fuel can help explain a project’s value. How were residents involved before the station design was finalised?
@IAm_Renew Developing several plants together can spread engineering and procurement costs. Will Via Verde raise debt for the portfolio or site by site?
