Can’t believe this seems to be the standard operation. We had the same experience, I made a formal complaint, they refuse to give us a partial refund. It’s a scam!

@EuropeanSlpr What a disastrous start to what should have been a magical train journey from Paris to Berlin. No Paris train so almost 5 hrs coach to Brussels. Train has no buffet car. Nobody seen with any food or drink. Pathetic. Never again.

NEVER AGAIN @EuropeanSlpr Put us on a bus instead of a sleeper train for five hours of our journey, then abandoned thirty people at a train station with no information for an hour at night and refuses a partial refund for our private sleeper cabin that we booked for over 300€.
