Three days ago, an unknown Spanish number called me on WhatsApp. I didn’t pick up because I don’t answer numbers that are not saved in my phone. The person later sent a message. He identified himself as IPOB Barcelona / Catalunya coordinator and said he got my number from the IPOB European Representative.

He wrote that the Catalunya Representative saw one of our works, contacted the IPOB office in Catalunya, and asked Biafra to furnish the details to them.

When I saw that message, I was very happy. What came to mind was government to government contact, and also that I was the producer of what the government had requested.

Without much delay, I furnished the information to our Biafra Ambassador to Catalunya, and he was very happy.

A small government to government transaction has taken place. I witnessed it and was part of it.

I love Biafra. #Institution

Our greatest mistake in IPOB was building an individual instead of an institution that would champion Biafra. Our Yesterday’s mistake is confronting our today’s reality. We shall try to amend it but let this be a lesson to people, especially my Igbo people.

In every organisation you belong, make sure you institutionalize it. Never allow an individual to be the face of any of your organizations. Use IPOB as a case study.

I never knew I was hired and could be fired in the Biafra movement, I sacrificed my future and my happiness. In this struggle many of us cant live like every other normal person. That is one thing we inherited from the Biafra struggle.

But be rest assured that as long as we breathe, we shall never stop until we position Biafra as the centre point, not any individual. We have taken an oath, and we shall sacrifice the remaining days of our lives doing it. Until we breathe no more, we will never give up.

So get ready, because we shall take many of you on a very long journey.
