This is a really crazy situation that caused quite a stir when it happened.
A “Home Instead” franchise owner Jennifer Hannah in Illinois fired her seven month pregnant staff member Crystal because she was wearing maternity pants. After she fired her, she locked her in the office, and would not let her go because she wanted her identification card back .

Here is Jennifer on the phone with cops asking them to come because she’s afraid of her employee who she has locked in her office with her. The arrogance of this woman is off the charts. Crystal, the former employee is having a panic attack, and begging the owner to please let her out. When police arrived Crystal needed medical attention.
She finally let Crystal out when the police told her that she was not allowed to imprison anyone on the premises.
Jennifer Hannah was served a summons, and had her Home Instead franchise taken away from her by the parent company.

Home Instead issued a statement emphasizing they "do not condone behavior that is inconsistent with our values" and took the incident "very seriously"

I REALLY tried to become a chicken person. We went ALL IN. New shed. Insulated coop. High-tech automatic doors. Cameras. Electric fencing. Bear protection. These nasty little dinosaurs basically live in a maximum-security luxury compound.

And I still cannot stand them. 😂

Everyone on X with chickens makes it look so wholesome. “Look at my sweet girls!” “Fresh eggs every morning!” “Chicken math!” Meanwhile I’m just trying to gather eggs without getting shit on and wondering why nobody warned me that chickens are tiny dinosaurs with terrible decision-making skills and absolutely no sense of self-preservation, NONE!

And FREE EGGS?! 😂

Feed. Bedding. Lime. Diatomaceous earth. Random medical supplies because somebody is ALWAYS doing something stupid. Electricity. Gas driving into town for yet another thing the chickens apparently need. Cleaning. More cleaning. Bear fencing. Then fixing everything when a bear decides our expensive electric fence and double walled shed/coop is merely a polite suggestion.

There are TWO humans in this house. TWO. At this point every egg probably costs us $47.63, and I have preserved eggs in every way known to mankind. Freeze-dried eggs. Water-glassed eggs. Frozen eggs. Scrambled and frozen eggs. Enough breakfast burritos to survive the apocalypse. You name it, I’ve done it—and I STILL have 19 DOZEN eggs in the fridge. Even my five dogs are like, “Good grief, lady, not eggs again.” 🤦‍♀️😂 I think I’m done. I am tapping out.

UPDATE ON GERALD AND THE CROW SITUATION:

Things have escalated.

I repeat.

THINGS HAVE FUCKING ESCALATED.

For those of you just joining us, yesterday I accidentally entered into diplomatic relations with a gang of crows after Gerald stole my good spoon.

Well.

This morning I walked outside and Gerald was waiting for me.

Alone.

Standing directly in the middle of my driveway.

No screaming.

No hopping around.

Just staring at me like a tiny feathered loan shark who had come to collect.

I said, “Morning, Gerald.”

He tilted his head.

I gave him a walnut.

He did not eat it.

Instead, this motherfucker picked it up, walked three steps to the left, PUT IT DOWN, and stared at me again.

Message received.

The offering was insufficient.

So I went back inside and got more walnuts.

When I returned…

THERE WERE NINE CROWS.

Nine.

Yesterday there were seven.

Gerald is fucking recruiting.

And they were arranged in a SEMICIRCLE.

This isn’t a bird friendship anymore.

I’m funding organized crime.

I distributed the walnuts because apparently I pay protection money now.

Everything seemed fine until one of the smaller crows tried taking two.

Kushner's group paid $125 million in April to Artur Shehu for land on the Zvernec peninsula. Two months later, Albanian prosecutors charged Shehu with money laundering and cocaine trafficking — alleging he used forged documents to acquire the land sold to Kushner.

The project faced mass protests for over 60 days under the "Flamingo Revolution," with thousands opposing environmental destruction and land theft. This is the second time Kushner has faced project collapse in the Balkans after local opposition — following a similar withdrawal in Belgrade, Serbia.

Previously, Iranian officials told Drop Site News that Iran has calculated $9 billion in profits from market manipulation by "individuals close to Trump," mainly Kushner and Steve Witkoff. Tehran warned Vance that Kushner and Witkoff were "more interested in exploiting insider knowledge to profit than reaching a deal."
