Thank you to the 100 Black Women's Beaucoup Vitabu group for inviting VIPS to join them in their initiative to encourage young girls to spend more time reading. We had a great time at their event at the Goodwood Library sharing in the importance of literacy.

Thank you to The Friends of The LSU Library for donating boxes of children's books that will be added to our Reading Friend's library! These books make the perfect incentive for Reading Friends to reward their students and enhance their in-home libraries.

Each semester @LatrendaK, EBR Schools Mathmatics Curriculum Content Trainer hosts a fun workshop for our volunteers. This time, she shared math games, ideas, and resources that Math Friends can use in their tutoring sessions to help their students strengthen their math skills.
