बिहार से शुरु हुआ SIR अब जब दिल्ली में दस्तक दे चुका है, तब शायद सत्ताधीशों को पता चल रहा है कि कांग्रेस पार्टी पूरे process को पहले दिन से Flawed क्यों कह रही थी !

बंगाल में जिन लोगों के नाम काटकर उन्हें वोट देने से रोका गया, उनमें अब तक फैसला हुए मामलों में 93% लोग अपनी अपील जीत गए - यानि 1,13,943 लोगों को फिर से मतदाता सूची में शामिल किया जाएगा! वाह !

किस आधार पर उनका मताधिकार छीना गया?

ऊपर से चुनाव आयोग आज आधिकारिक प्रेस विज्ञप्ति जारी कर के “VIP/marked electors” का वर्णन करता है।

क्या अब भारत के Universal Adult Franchise में मतदाताओं की कोई Special Category है — VIP मतदाता और आम मतदाता?

क्या हमारे संविधान ने जो One Person, One Vote, One Value का सिद्धांत दिया था, ये उसकी अवेहलना नहीं है? क्या VIP वोट अब ज्यादा क़ीमती हो गया है?

SIR के पहले तीन चरणों में 31 राज्यों/केंद्र शासित प्रदेशों में 13.8 करोड़ मतदाता सूची से बाहर हुए—यानी 94.78 करोड़ मतदाताओं में से करीब 14.61%, उनपर हाथ पर हाथ धरे किसके इशारे पर बैठा रहता है?
