Looks a very highly emotion driven plot.

For all the perception of being male dominated industry,

It is the Telugu film industry that delivered the most Women led theatrical blockbusters

Telugu audience are just hungry for theatrical mass cinema

It doesn't matter who delivers that experience... Men or women... As long you deliver them, they are game for it

Lokah is the only exception that surpassed total run of these films but it is also a big franchise

Also for all the hype, I don't think Nayanathara has ever actually delivered big box office numbers

She doesn't justify her tag of Lady Superstar

Anushka and Samantha are the only proper theatrical female stars of 21st Century in Southern film industries

[VJReviews @VJReviews1]

@jammypants4 Telugu cinema has been doing it since long, telugu audience as well and have produced many female icons over the decades.

All it takes is a good film. Sam delivered it this time.

[Samantha @Samanthaprabhu2]

To see a film open so well on day one is hugely humbling and means the world to us.

So very glad to see the day when audiences embrace a film irrespective of whether it is male-led or female-led. And it’s beautiful to see people show up wholeheartedly - from the young to the seniors - to cheer the film’s release.

The most heartening thing of all is seeing women contribute so heavily to the opening day. For the longest time, we’ve heard that theatrical openings are driven by male audiences. It’s wonderful to see the audience for cinema continue to grow and evolve.

Our little production house delivered!

@CeededTalkies Movie baundi. Simple

[VJReviews @VJReviews1]

@jammypants4 By that logic, what was shown on the screen in peddi was the POV of Peddis eyes, the director isn't objectifying her, the fictional character peddi is attracted to her, we were all just watching what peddi was seeing with his eyes.

You ranted about two fictional characters!?
