Jesus, the Great Physician is the Master of repair, restoration and redemption ❤️ On this day, between His chosen death and His powerful resurrection, He was low. Low in the grave He lay, Jesus My Savior. He had to lay low to fulfill Heavenly Father's Will.

Mary’s heart must’ve pierced with burning when she remembered the warmth of His newborn body wrapped in swaddling clothes. Perhaps Jesus‘s Words resounded with comfort.

For His mother and John, they may have pictured what He looked like on the cross after abuse of the worst kind. Now wrapped and motionless on a cold rock behind a heavy stone, He was inaccessible.

The scheduled time of Passover celebration remembering deliverance from Egypt must have been hard, when you’re low. While waiting on the Lord to keep His promise perhaps the memories of His walk and talk consumed their thoughts.

I wonder what His 11 disciples and other followers thought while He was in the grave. Did they believe that He would rise again? At a very minimum, they had to be low. Low physically, mentally or spiritually, maybe all three at once.
