Airbus has signed two strategic contracts with the Organisation for Joint Armament Cooperation (OCCAR). These new contracts are the so-called #A400M Global Support Services (GSS3) and Block Upgrade 0 to enhance the aircraft's scope of capabilities.

The Global Support Services contract, which covers all A400M-user nations, provides a full range of tailored services.
The so-called Block Upgrade 0 represents the first upgrade of the A400M’s operational capabilities beyond the scope of the original launch contract.

From the 16 #C295 ordered by Spain 🇪🇸 end of 2023, 8 aircraft will be in Maritime Patrol configuration (MPA) and 8 in Maritime Surveillance configuration (MSA).

ℹ️ These new aircraft will enable the Spanish Air and Space Force @EjercitoAire and the Spanish Navy @Armada_esp to strengthen the national anti-submarine warfare capability as well as increase and enhance its surveillance, reconnaissance and search & rescue units.

At @FIAFarnborough we have showcased today the successful 20-year history of the #A330MRTT and its natural evolution with the MRTT+ to meet growing market demand.

As many as 20 nations with over 4,000 service men and women will participate for three weeks in the biennial exercise. Of the over 140 aircraft involved, key Airbus military aircraft will be present such as the Royal Australian Air Force's #A330MRTTs. The aim of this three-week multinational exercise is to train aircrews for the entry force mission. It also contributes to the operational readiness of crews and strengthens military cooperation with the participating nations.

Today we signed a contract to provide the Spanish Ministry of Defence with 16 Airbus C295 aircraft in two configurations: Maritime Patrol Aircraft (MPA) and Maritime Surveillance Aircraft (MSA). The contract is valued at approximately €1.7 billion.
