This afternoon, we hosted a ceremony of the handing over of four renovated Government houses by the Association of Unemployed Artisans in Namibia to the Government of the Republic of Namibia. The renovated houses were received by the Vice President of the Republic of Namibia.

On the 03 June 2021, Hon. Veikko Nekundi delivered a Keynote Address at the re- launch of the FAW Trucks brand in Namibia. The event was held at the Africa Commercial Vehicles Premises.

Hon. Felix Mhona, Minister of Transport & Infrastructure of Zimbabwe, visited Walvis Bay on 27-31 May 2021, to understand the operations of the Dry Port Facility and discuss issues of mutual interest.

The Zimbabwean Minister of Transport and Infrastructural Development, Hon. Felix T Mhona arrived in Namibia this afternoon for a 3 day official working visit.

Today, Hon. Veikko Nekundi officially opened the Arandis NaTIS Registering Authority. In his remarks, Hon. Nekundi emphasized that it is the Ministry of Works and Transport’s aspiration to have fully fledged Vehicle and Driver testing facilities countrywide.
