The initiative reaffirmed the commitment of Chakra Warriors towards the health, dignity and welfare of those who keep our communities clean.

As part of #SwachhataHiSeva2026,#ChakraWarriors turned commitment into action across Ambala, Patiala, Dappar, Nabha & Sangrur Cantts from 17–25 Sep 2026.
From clearing accumulated waste, leaf litter & deadwood to creating awareness among the next generation, the campaign went beyond cleanliness. It inspired Jan Bhagidari, responsible citizenship & a culture of sustainability.
🌱 300+ Army Public School students joined poster-making, awareness sessions and interactive activities on Waste Segregation & the 3Rs—Reduce, Reuse, Recycle.

#DGAFMS congratulates eminent ophthalmologist Brig Sanjay Kumar Mishra of Army Hospital (R & R) who was awarded #FRCOphth by Royal College of Ophthalmologists London by election, in an impressive ceremony in London.
Being the only Indian this year and First Ophthalmologist from Armed Forces Medical Services to be awarded #FRCOphth is a matter of singular pride for the Services. He was also awarded the #FRCS Ed by Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh (By election), given only to two Opthalmoligists and both were Indians on 25th June this year.

An Indian Armed Forces delegation, led by Lieutenant General Pushpendra Pal Singh, GOC-in-C @westerncomd_IA and the seniormost serving Special Forces Officer of the Indian Armed Forces, participated in #SOFWeek2026 held at Tampa, Florida, from 18-21 May 2026. The event brought together Special Operations Forces, defence leaders and industry partners from over 70 nations.

In a landmark first, the Indian Army participated in the prestigious CAPEX Capability Demonstration at Tampa, showcasing the professionalism and operational excellence of Indian Special Forces in counter-terrorism, unconventional warfare, high-altitude and jungle warfare operations. India’s participation at #SOFWeek2026 reflects the deepening India–US defence partnership and the expanding global footprint of the Indian Armed Forces.

Lieutenant General Pushpendra Pal Singh, GOC-in-C @westerncomd_IA and the seniormost serving Special Forces Officer of the Indian Armed Forces, engaged with senior leadership of @USSOCOM and @Southcom on the sidelines of #SOFWeek2026 held at Tampa, Florida, from 18-21 May 2026.

The delegation also interacted with leadership of all the US Theatre Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), including SOCCENT, SOCPAC and SOCAFRICA.

The engagements reflect the growing strategic convergence under the India-US Strategic Defence Partnership Framework signed in Oct 2025.

On the 67th Raising Day of the Raavi Terriers, 126 Inf Bn TA (JAKRIF) organised a Blood Donation Camp with Blood Bank, MH Pathankot.

124 volunteers stepped forward to donate blood—demonstrating the Armed Forces’ enduring commitment to saving lives and serving the nation. 🩸🇮🇳
