The creaking of beans was heard falling and smashing through floors, crackling from the fire set to furniture being sprayed out to other objects.
It was like a nightmare, one of those dreams that you die because of the death that occurred within them.
Was it because of death being so close? Or maybe it was the tolerance of heat that she grew accustomed to.
Nothing hurt anymore, her lungs felt as though they’ve died, her body feels lifted and in a place out of reach. All that was left was her soul.
The only thing she would regret would be leaving her younger brother to fend for herself in the cruel world they live in.
Ume gave up, her body growing limp and resting on the furnace-like flooring.
‘ 𝘐 ’𝘮 𝘴𝘰𝘳𝘳𝘺 . . . ‘
Her lungs felt like they were on fire, burning and heaving what seemed to be the soot that infiltrated the organ.
What lead her to this point? Her anger, she let her emotions get the better of her which triggered a bad reaction with her gift. How stupid she was.
Her flames sprouted from her hands and scorched her waxed flooring as she used what strength she had left to punch the flooring and try to lift her body up.
She was going to die if nothing was done but would that be the worst thing in the world?

The trainer walked up to the stranger and gently tapped on his arm, looking up to meet his gaze with a nervous smile.
‘ ‘ Um . . . I’m new around here, do you think you can point me towards the gym ? ‘ ‘
She looked at the man looking at her. Deciding to be friendly, she gave him a small wave and flashed him a welcoming smile. It’s better to have a good first introduction.
The trainer nodded, that’s what she’ll keep saying.
‘ ‘ plus, you seem kind, I’m sure you have your reasons like I have for the things I’ve down in the past. ‘ ‘
She blinked. Killing? Well . . . It depends on the type of people. She knows many people that kill and slaughter so it’s not entirely knew.
‘ ‘ Hm. Your kills are overcome by the amount of people you save with vaccines and cures. ‘ ‘
He could notice the euphoria of the girl, he could only smile at those words.

She looked at him in awe, science was one of her bottom subject when she was in school so the idea of talking to a scientist and a doctor was fascinating!
