Iran announces: “We are waiting for (US troops) arrival”

Will Trump send ground troops to take Iran’s Kharg Island? I certainly think they plan for this scenario in the Pentagon.

The questions are:
- When will the U.S. manage to ramp up all needed infrastructure in the region and be ready to deploy a big enough force?
- How much help and preparation can Iran accomplish? Will this deter or slow down U.S. plans?

With the official collapse of the MoU, a new military escalation is inevitable.

Trump wants to hit Iran hard to force them into concessions at the negotiation table for a new deal … and Iran is preparing for defense.

My guess is that the chances of some boots on the ground are rather 50/50 … not many options remain for Trump.

Satellite imagery confirms a strike on Tower 22, a strategically important U.S. military outpost in northeastern Jordan near the Syrian and Iraqi borders.

Originally established as a Jordanian border post, Tower 22 has been used by U.S. forces since 2015 as part of an “advise and assist” mission.

The installation hosts American engineering, aviation, logistics and security personnel and sits just 20 kilometers (12 miles) from the Al-Tanf garrison in southeastern Syria. Together, Tower 22 and Al-Tanf form a critical logistics and surveillance network for U.S. operations in the tri-border region of Jordan, Syria and Iraq.

Beyond serving as a troop outpost, Tower 22 has housed significant military infrastructure. By 2020, the base operated an AN/TPS-75 transportable 3D air-search radar capable of detecting and tracking aircraft and other aerial threats at long ranges.

Its location makes it one of the most strategically valuable U.S. positions in the region, acting as both a forward operating site and a support hub for operations conducted from Al-Tanf.

As Ukraine's manpower shortages get worse, forced mobilisation continues to be increased, as men get dragged off the streets to be sent to the frontline.

Another way men are mobilised is when they are caught at the border trying to escape. Recently, one man was caught while trying to cross the border undetected, and has since been sent to a training ground, from which he will later be sent to the frontline. Here is a direct quote from him, that I have been given permission to post:

"I tried to cross the border through the swamp bushes and got caught at the river. Too many drones patrolling the border now. It was [date redacted]. Border guards initiated administrative case what will end up as [redacted] hryvnia penalty. What is worse is that they passed me to military police who kept me 4 days in a kind of jail. Yesterday late night they transferred me and 45 other service eludes to the reserve battalion in Vinnytsa region."

"Some guys here said they are 4 month here with no salary. No uniform. 3 rations per day. Conditions here are fair, not as in jail - it is a kind of camp in the forest where officers are kept finally separated from drug addicts, alcoholics and all kinds of human waste who feel from their units.."

Zelensky bragged just last week about all the Russian merchant vessels he was destroying in the Sea of Azov. This is the predictable response from Russia, hitting the same targets on the Ukrainian side.

You can hate it, you can say how evil Putin is, but when one side opens up a new category of targets, you can count on the enemy, hitting your targets in the same category and response.

That’s just how war works.

All this reinforces, one more time, how this war cannot be won by Ukraine, using military means. It’s a near physical impossibility. Anything Ukraine does, Russia can respond in bigger and stronger and longer ways. A negotiated settlement under the best, ugly terms possible, remains Ukraine’s only hope to avoid almost certain destruction.

Statement from the Yemeni Armed Forces:

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
God says: "But those who, after suffering injustice, repel the wrong (done to them) are not held accountable. (For) the reward for such is not due to them; they have only that (which is) equal to the harm done to them, and they are given forgiveness and a generous share." God is the Exalted, the Great.

The Saudi aggressor continues its unjust and brutal siege on our dear people, for nearly twelve years, plundering wealth and imposing a comprehensive blockade on ports and airports, by land, sea, and air. This has exacerbated the suffering of our dear people to an unbearable level, without any right or justification for it. This is unacceptable and cannot be tolerated, as it is not based on any right, legal, or humanitarian grounds. It has no legitimacy; it is a false and aggressive blockade, and its consequences are disastrous for our dear Yemeni people. It also began with aggression against our country by targeting Sana'a International Airport in a blatant and treacherous act. Our people cannot endure this unjust siege and aggression without taking a stand. Our great people are a believing, striving people, a people of faith and wisdom, and they are the people of a just cause. They have the full right to confront this siege and aggression by all available means.

Therefore, in response to the calls of our dear, mujahid people to participate in the massive million-person demonstration on the day of warning and mobilization, and the previous gatherings and large tribal stands, the Yemeni Armed Forces affirm the following:

First: The Yemeni Armed Forces announce a ban on maritime navigation for the Saudi aggressor, according to the equation of "siege with siege," which will come into effect from the moment this statement is announced.

Second: We reaffirm the right of our great people to confront the siege with a siege and to escalate comprehensively with comprehensive escalation, and to solidify this equation.

Third: The Yemeni Armed Forces confirm their full readiness for all options, and that any foolish act committed by the reckless Saudi aggressor through comprehensive escalation will be met with a comprehensive and harsh response, by God's will and power.

The House is set to vote on several bills before they leave on Thursday and won’t be back in session until September.

The $1.15 Trillion dollar NDAA, which will tie our military intelligence to Israel.

A Trump requested $93 billion dollar bill that gives the pentagon $60 billion for the Iran War that has now killed 17 US service members and injured over 430 more. Another $12 billion will go to farmers who have been financially devastated because of Trump’s war with Iran due to high costs of fertilizer and fuel.

And another CR, which is another extension of the budget bc Republicans can’t pass a budget even though they campaign constantly on balancing the budget and reducing the near $40 Trillion dollar debt.

Just to be clear, under full Republican control, their priorities are funding another foreign war, selling out our military intelligence to a foreign country that bankrolls most of our politicians campaigns, and overspending your tax dollars.

Nothing changed by electing Trump and Republicans.

Oh and the national price of gas is $4 dollars again and we only have less than 45 days left of our Strategic Petroleum Reserves. What was that thing we used to say again, drill baby drill?
