@yea_ala@doublej549596 Adversity infers that y’all tried to work through it. That didn’t happen.
Y’all got beat the fuck up and sat the fuck down by the time the first quarter was over.
@goodolboy2102 You’re confusing different Southern cultural forms for Southern vs. Not Southern.
East Tennessee is Appalachian Southern with a very unique cultural background that’s different from the rest of the South.
SC is Lowcountry/Deep South, with similarities, but differences too.
@VOLatileFan “ACC team” that has spent nearly twice the time in the SEC as we did in the ACC, made it to Atlanta more recently than you, and has more 11 win seasons than you since 2000. Let’s not act like Tennessee has given the SEC much to brag about since ‘98
@RandRCigars@WrathOfTheTusk Not pointed at the visitor’s sideline?
Those speakers, which have since been discontinued because of an upgraded sound system, simply played the same thing that played over the loudspeakers.
Those still abided by the rule that when the C goes over the ball, audio has to be cut
@WrathOfTheTusk@RandRCigars MSU is an exception to the rule. Pretty sure the rule that the rest of the NCAA (or at least the SEC) follows is that you can’t make artificial noise once the C goes over the ball.
That’s why they shut off the speaker music and/or the bands stop playing.
