VPFF Statement on Military Survivors and Dependent Education Program: "Our brave men and women in the fire service have served their communities proudly and their families have sacrificed immensely. They deserve these education benefits."
Thank you to @DonScott757 for joining us at our 2024 Convention in Norfolk. You have been a true friend to Virginia's firefighters and to the labor movement across the Commonwealth. We appreciate your support!

There are no "cons" when it comes to collective bargaining.
Giving @IAFFLocal2924 a voice at the table makes Virginia Beach safer for residents, visitors, and the fire fighters and emergency medical workers who answer the call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. #solidarity#1u
Thank you @AlexAskew757! The bill moves on to final reading. This important bill will give ALL of Virginias firefighters and EMS workers the ability to collectively bargain with their employer. @IAFFofficial@TheVaPFF
A good paying union job with benefits is what helped lift me up from a teenage mother to a college graduate with BS & MA degrees to a successful businesswoman and now State Senator. So let it be known; if labor and workers aren't at the table l am not interested in your proposal.
Another great day in #VaBeach District 1 supporting David “Chief Hutch” Hutcheson (https://t.co/31wwwz7Toz) for the January 9th special election. No need to wait…get that voting done early!

Who needs a sleigh with reindeer when Santa and Mrs. Claus have a fire truck to ride in on?!?
Plenty of kids to welcome them as well at the annual @iafflocal2924 and @VirginiaBeachFD evening with Santa.
Mandatory overtime should be a temporary problem, not a long term fix. Thanks to @nbcnews and @spettypi for highlighting this issue and reporting on the problems facing @VirginiaBeachFD as well as public safety in general.

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Firefighter Rodney Pitts. Rodney succumbed to injuries sustained on yesterday’s fire in the 5200 Blk of Linden Heights Ave. Rodney graduated the Baltimore City Fire Academy in July.
Great to be with @BrewerForVa, @BillDeSteph, @TheVaPFF, and @VirginiaBeachFD to present the 2023 bill signed by @GovernorVA that expanded cancer coverage for Virginia firefighters to Sara and Gus Chiaverotti. The piece was designed and built by VB’s own, Valhalla’s Forge.
