Local 718 would like to recognize all of our members, including those from the BFD Honor Guard, who marched with us in the South Boston Saint Patrick’s Day Parade (@southbostonparade), presented by the South Boston Allied War Veterans Council. We would also like to recognize our brothers and sisters from the PFFM, IAFF, and others from across the state, country, and globe who came out to join us. Firefighters from New York, California, Maryland, Canada, Ireland, and more came to join the men and women of Local 718 as we celebrated on Sunday.

We also stand in solidarity with our public safety partners who swiftly responded to the incident, including the numerous local fire departments that played a vital role in rescuing and saving lives during yesterday's tragic events.
