10年前に初めて監督した映画「めめめのくらげ」を京都でリバイバル上映させてもらいます。MOVIX京都さんとアップリンク京都さん、ありがとうございます。一応、いまやってる京都市京セラ美術館「村上隆 もののけ 京都」展の関連企画です。
入場者には全員に「めめめのくらげ」トレーデ���ングカードをプレゼントします。12種類の中からランダム３種入りの大盤振る舞い！映画に出てくるキャラクターがカードになってます。
あと、今週土曜は三池崇史監督とトークショーもやります。なぜなら、いま「めめめのくらげ２」を10年がかりで制作中で、なんと三池監督にその仕上げを助けてもらっているから。で、三池監督が作ってくれた「２」の長めの予告編も、今回の上映では見てもらえますよ。

My directorial debut film, Jellyfish Eyes, released 10 years ago, will be revived and shown in Kyoto. Thank you MOVIX Kyoto and Uplink Kyoto! This is, in part, a project related to the “Takashi Murakami Mononoke Kyoto” exhibition currently being held at the Kyoto City KYOCERA Museum of Art.

Every attendee will receive a Jellyfish Eyes trading card; each pack contains three random cards out of twelve types! The characters from the movie are featured on the cards.

Additionally, this Saturday, I will do a talk show with director Takashi Miike. This is because we are currently working on Jellyfish Eyes 2, which has been in production for 10 years, and director Miike is helping us with the final touches. You will also get to see a longer trailer for Jellyfish Eyes 2 created by director Miike at this screening.
