@PompeyPedro It’s a simple pass with the left. Can either go early with the outside of the foot, or as stones commits his weight, pivot and go with the inside. Player at that level shouldn’t be struggling with it. He just didn’t look up.
@MikRec Him being left footed is exactly why he could and should have made the pass. As a lefty I can tell you that is a really straightforward pass with the outside of the boot, even at speed.
@AstraiaAI@HumanV2119 This happened before any of the supposed controversies. If the pass made and then Haaland buries it, it’s game over. Done. Norway only have themselves to blame
FIFA fucking hate England btw. It’s not even a secret.
@CheGiaevara Ok. Let’s for a moment say FIFA lied. Why? Why would they want to benefit England? Actually think about that second question properly rather than going for the first thing in your head.
FIFA favouring England is one of the most insane takes I’ve ever heard.
@FPLSportScience The step across came so late there was no chance of it being avoided, defender is already committed. If the move was less exaggerated by Spence he may have got it. I’d have been fuming if that was given at the other end though.
@TeslaMahal@LinkN01 Can tell you barely watch the game, cause if you’d watched for more than 5 minutes you’d know and understand just how much FIFA don’t like England.
@honorablesaint@underflowR Yes, totally rigged. FIFA has always famously favoured England, and have always made sure bad decisions never happen to them……….
Btw, FIFA fucking hate us. Much like the rest of the footballing world. We’re cool with that.
@axiommaximo@WadePlem How? England were better in every major area, and the stats back it up, including the most important one. Goals scored.
FIFA could have chalked off Norway’s 1st goal
FIFA could have given England a penalty
FIFA could have suspended Quansah’s red.
They did none of those things
@jilon21@BennyG10001@BBCSport@BBCMOTD Except it’s exactly what it was for as the wrong player initially got booked. VAR is allowed to overturn that type of decision. If the reff hadn’t booked Paredes, then no, nothing could be done.
@sadislesfan30 Ok. So Haaland gets pushed first. Has no impact, move continues, Haaland then pushes, does have an impact on game. But let’s say they go with the push on Haaland. It’s before the whistle, so as you were, corner to be retaken. Same outcome 🤷♂️
@ProfKreg If it were that much of a conspiracy, Kane would have been given a foul in the Norway goal build up and Spence would have been given a penalty. As it stands, neither were given, which was correct. But you’ve seen both given before.
