Oh and now ALL sounds are spatialized in v2.9, even when you don’t request it. They didn’t even bother to run 1 app or game before pushing this thing out..
@lostinartmagic@TheEthanExpress@Minibattle_Lop No one is making “a Linux version” of their apps & games for Steam Frame. It runs Android apps through the FEX layer. That’s how everyone is bringing their apps/games to the Frame. We’ll do the same once we receive a headset.
Big update today! The BRINK Traveler folks brought over a very cool environment from their app: Iceland Riverbed! We also have lots of performance improvements and bug fixes. Enjoy!
@AntonHand We see kids with integrated graphics complaining that they get a terrible experience. The “VR Ready PC” label allows us to tell them they don’t meet the minimum requirements (GTX 970). Integrated graphics still not matching that performance a decade later is a disappointment
Really enjoyed seeing this one come together. @BrinkXR Traveler’s Iceland Riverbed is a great fit for @VRDesktop, and there’s more going on behind the scenes than you might expect. Hope we see more collaborations like this.
