@ID_AA_Carmack I remember radiosity being something that I aspired to implement myself. I thought the scenes (of diffuse surfaces) rendered with it were exceptionally beautiful. Interesting that it is irrelevant now, in college I would have predicted the opposite.
@SMHalf It was a Rift DK2 game and won’t work on the Quest 2. I do have the project files, but it would take time to update it for Quest 2/3. It’s an antiquated application compared to newer VR boxing games. Maybe I’ll get it working at some point. Sadly I won’t be able to do it soon.
The "Hello, World!" project that I created to learn Unreal Engine is coming out on June 27. It's called WraithRun. Basically it's a classic arcade-style game but in first person with UE5 Graphics. Dark cyberpunk horror themed. https://t.co/iSndpgW4js
@dosnostalgic That was a great year for PC games. It’s when you really started to notice the graphics and complexity improving. One thing I like about that era was that all of the games looked unique. Probably because most games had their own engines and everything was rendered in software.
