I always go back to "How does the human in me, see the human in you?" from @sheabutterfemme 's benediction...I reference it alot in my journal when I feel I'm spiraling ...and it's both simple and fundamentally shattering...learning to re-humanize myself AND others doesn't.......
Obviously, im not on here like that, but this is the type of terrorism that requires flooding timelines and demanding justice.
Exquisite writing through an ongoing harrowing journey
The notoriously violent Memphis Police Department has been emboldened by the Trump administration to terrorize Black people throughout Memphis under the guise of "decreasing crime."
Here is my story of MPD harassment, assault, and trumped up charges.

Does anyone know of eviction resources or tenant lawyers in TN? My rent is paid but my landlord is trying to illegally evict me bc I told him he and his staff can’t call me and show up to my house at all hours.
Since real estate is one of the primary ways the rich get-keep-transfer wealth, not to mention the political power + influence tied to their land grabs, they first attempted to manufacture need for the real estate then, when that failed, resorted to forcing people back to office.
It has nothing to do with whether work *CAN* be done just as well remotely. Nothing to do with productivity, teambuilding, connection. It’s entirely about the billions lost if corporate real estate becomes less in demand because folks realize it’s not necessary for many jobs.
For people still confused, the “return to office” push and all the hysteria about remote work decreasing productivity (when people have been working remotely since… the internet) has been brought to you courtesy of the corporate real estate market.
This tweet doesn't give an opinion on her one way or the other, but is pointing out people's rush to shout she's not a part of a religion after she clearly says she is just not to the extent people believe she is. The only judgment here is on people's comprehension skills.
I would like to extend a public apology to the Reading Rainbow Coalition. After today, I realize *WHY* they was right to wanna lock y’all in reeducation camps and make you read Walter Rodney for your dinner.
I have since done my research and found WHY we apparently need a dictator and now I obviously agree but honestly some of y'all might have to carry more of this L then most (most = me)
As a Black, I’m non-democratically electing myself the official spokesperson for all things Black (officially titled “Ambassador of Every Nigga Everywhere”).
Should you need to know the Official Black Position™️ on any topic, only I have it. This should avoid further confusion.
If what you want is to see someone hurt, that requires the honesty of saying that rather than “I want them held accountable”. Process your desire rather than rewrite it to avoid confronting it.
“Violence isn’t always the answer” >>> “violence is never the answer.”
This is were the question of consequences, punishment, vengeance comes in. It is fine to want to enact violence against people who are unaccountable to violence they cause other. It needs to be named as such to contextualize it and understand what you are seeking.
If someone I’m in community with causes harm, we work to redress that harm as it is possible and they choose to be accountable. For people who opt out of accountability/never opted in (including but not limited to cops and politicians), accountability doesn’t exist.
