Kiké Hernández is the only player in MLB history to have at least 10.0% of his career homers (reg & post) come in the postseason (min. 100 total homers).
@CTbigred23@tommiedotjpg Respectfully I don’t believe I made a single assumption. I stated that the only question of relevance is if they violated FFP.
If they did, 20+ teams were playing by one set of rules and 1 wasn’t.
@tommiedotjpg@CTbigred23 It’s an irrelevant discussion whether they needed to cook the books to win. The only relevant question is whether or not they did it.
And if City felt like you both do, that it didn’t have an impact on anything, why falsify financial documents in the first place?
@JeffSpiegel@daniel0rxg1 Yeah I’d imagine there’s no chance he’s playing an inning in the field if the game is within reach. Then again Will Klein pitched 4 innings so never say never.
@daniel0rxg1@JeffSpiegel For sure, he’s a better hitter than half the lineup. But the fact that he’s gotten almost no defensive reps, no run as a PH to get him used to the approach, and the way Dave values experience, I expect to see him very little.
@daniel0rxg1@JeffSpiegel I don’t think they’d do it. In what context could you PH JDP for Pages? You’d be taking out your best OF defender in an OF with two guys in the corners who can barely move
