When a dude with an accordion rolls up on a lawnmower, you know it’s about to get real.
Steve’n’Seagulls turn “Thunderstruck” into a hoedown and I am here for it.
I took an AVP spatial photo of my daughter during her newborn photography session (her first week of birth)
I fed that stereo image into the model. And seeing the results nearly made me want to cry
It’s amazing that I will be able to show her this splat when she’s older
I tried out that newly released Apple “single image to gaussian splat” model today
It’s actually incredible. Unlike the current spatial scenes feature, you can actually WALK INTO the memory you captured on your phone
It only took about 10 seconds on my MacBook Pro to generate
We shared an AUTOMA demo with a few VR creators & press today — with a twist:
this version includes several brand-new immersive-sim interactions that weren’t in the announce footage 👀
So let’s make a bit of a game of it:
Who’ll discover the new interactions first?
@GAMERTAGVR@UploadVR@BeardoBenjoYT@bmfshow@VRtualStrangers, PSVR2 Without Parole
Good luck! 🔍🤖

Horizon Call of the Mountain on PSVR2 is STILL on another level visually.
EVERYTHING feels cinematic.
In hindsight (and current day) this was definitely a Day 1 masterpiece on #PSVR2.

@theXRman But that $200 fee is a drop in the bucket next to the shit contract you probably agreed to so that you could have a nice phone for an affordable price. If they're faced with you eating the termination fee and leaving, they'll eventually bend.
@theXRman Kepp the $15 add on for a month or two, then call back and remove it.
(I was this specialist for 3 years, in my younger days.) They are trained to give as little as they can to keep you content.
From day one, this community has been amazing.
Thanks for backing our very first launch and supporting our mission to bring brilliant flatscreen games to VR.
Happy birthday Trombone Champ: Unflattened! 🎺🎂
Congratulations to @AndrewEhrenrei1 for winning the Community Style Run 🥳
Thank you to everyone that participated, every clip was so fun and amazing to watch 🤩
Hey PSVR2 people, an update: Zero Caliber VR is entering its (hopefully) last round of certification next week - we're currently expecting an end of November, early December release.
Sorry it's taking longer than expected, but it's gonna be 🔥
Into Black is out now PS VR2! https://t.co/gP2lVIWBgY
Loot, mine, craft and survive, solo or with up to four players co-op, and discover why critics are calling it “A deserving nominee for VR Game of the Year”

I wasn’t sure if we were the first game to support this! It could have been earlier, but working on the Switch 2 port took a huge amount of my time this year! I just couldn’t find the time to finish the feature - even last week it was 50-50 that this would make it into Voyagers!
I know I'm not the only one waiting for the amazing team at @TheBinaryMill to bring RUSH VR to PSVR2! 🤣 Retweet if you're with me, so they have proof there is still interest. I'd pay for it again, even if there was no upgrade path. It's a VR CLASSIC! @parolePSVR #PSVR2#PS5

It isn't everyday I get to interview an Emmy winner (for his work building an interactive VR entertainment experience called "Wolves in the Walls" that blew my mind. Was the first to hand me a virtual item in such and talk with me inside a Holodeck.
So awesome to catch up with Edward Saatchi and talk about his new company @fablesimulation and where the Holodeck is going next.
ChatGPT wrote these notes about what you will learn by watching my interview:
++++++++++++
🎬 What You’ll Learn from Edward Saatchi, CEO of Fable and Creator of Showrunner:
The Future of Storytelling
How AI is transforming movies into playable, user-driven worlds—think of watching a show, then remixing it into your own scenes the next day.
The Holodeck is Real (Almost)
What NVIDIA, Meta, and creators like Saatchi are doing to make the sci-fi Holodeck a near-future reality—blending LLMs, VR, and generative video.
From Cinema to Simulation
Why the next art form isn’t passive film or gaming—but something in between: AI-powered simulations populated by intelligent characters.
The Role of the Artist Has Changed
Directors become world-builders. Think: “Build Springfield, and let Springfield generate The Simpsons.”
AI’s Cultural Moment Is Not About Cheap VFX
Saatchi argues we shouldn’t waste AI on cost-cutting Pixar knockoffs—but instead embrace it as the foundation for new art movements.
Playable IP Is the Future
Imagine watching a Star Wars movie Friday, and by Sunday, fans have made thousands of new episodes using the same AI model. That’s the dream.
A New Type of Social Network?
In the age of AI-generated shows, what happens when every high school has its own AI drama? You might get a million versions of “Akron High.”
Virtual Beings with Real Context
Why convincing characters need more than chat—they need lives, families, coworkers, and a world to live in.
Art as Reflection of Chaos
Like the modernists after WWI, Saatchi sees AI as the medium that can reflect our fragmented, insane 2025 reality.
The Role of the Human Creator
Humans may shift from being the writer to being the simulator—designing environments, rules, and emotional logic that AI then plays out.
