@Bellagiotime It was also quite a ferocious beast in WW 2 with 4 cannons in the nose and each of the Alison V1710 engine produced about 1100hp each, you wouldn't want one on your tail, if you were an enemy
@Bellagiotime Yes absolutely my favourite of all aircraft, a beautiful and stunning aircraft, yet I've never seen one, as there are none flying in the uk, the last one based here sadly crashed in 1996 at Duxford the Red Bull P38 visits the uk occasionally, i must visit the US there are 7 there
