Unemployment among #graduates in #AndhraPradesh has reached 41%! We need to make our colleges accountable for employment outcomes and hold the present #TDP Govt. & previous YSRCP Govt. accountable for not creating new jobs and non-filling of existing vacancies. That is why I have promised a Govt. Job Calendar every January 1, ₹10,000 monthly support for unemployed graduates while they look for work, and the creation of 30 lakh jobs over five years.

The molestation of a minor girl in #Jamui and safety concerns raised by Delhi’s #LSR students should concern the entire country. I support the demand for a 5-day working week for bank employees, but customers should not lose access to banking services on Saturdays. A rotational staffing model can ensure employees get two weekly offs while branches remain operational six days a week. Proposed #DataCentres across the #Vizag region will require 11 crore litres of water daily, even as the city faces shortages due to poor rainfall. AP Govt. must plan ahead to balance household and industrial needs during dry months. Investment must create opportunities without compromising any family’s access to drinking water.

The ₹2 lakh life insurance cover for pilgrims visiting #Tirupati is grossly insufficient. No amount can compensate for the loss of a life, ₹2 lakh is far from any meaningful support. This should be increased to at least ₹10 lakh, particularly given the lakhs of devotees who visit Tirumala every year. #TTD #AndhraPradesh

The proposed 0.4% MDR on person-to-merchant UPI transactions above ₹2,000 could be a problem. Low-margin businesses may pass it on to consumers or split payments into multiple transactions below ₹2,000. Rather than charging merchants for using UPI, Hon’ble FM @nsitharaman ji should consider continuing budgetary support to keep UPI transactions free. One of UPI’s greatest strengths has been its zero-cost, frictionless adoption, we should preserve that.

I support Hon’ble HM @AmitShah ji’s aim of implementing the Uniform Civil Code across all 21 NDA-ruled states by 2029. My stand has been consistent, if India can have a uniform criminal law with BNS why should our civil laws be different? Equality before the law and equal protection of the laws are constitutional principles. The Congress should also support this reform so that we can ultimately move towards a Uniform Civil Code for the entire country. #UCC #AndhraPradesh

Three bus fires in #AndhraPradesh in just 10 days should set alarm bells ringing over passenger safety. The latest incident near Vizag’s Waltair depot gutted an empty APSRTC bus. Thankfully, no lives have been lost in these incidents, but passenger safety cannot be left to luck. The @ncbn government must urgently investigate the causes behind these fires and address them. Prevention must come before tragedy.

The #Anthropic whistleblower’s warning that #AI could kill humans is a threat we cannot afford to ignore. AI can transform healthcare, education, science and productivity, but this also comes with great risk. The AI race cannot simply be about building more powerful models faster. We must ensure that humans remain firmly in control of the technology we create. I suggest to create an international body for a regulated growth of AI with Hon’ble PM @narendramodi ji and leaders of top 10 economies of the world for safe future growth of AI.

The Govt. must announce a #drought relief package now! Agriculture supports 60% of AP’s people, its importance to AP’s economy must be reflected in the Govt.’s priorities.

#AndhraPradesh #CM Chandrababu Naidu @ncbn urging people to have more children when he himself has 1 child, and his son also has 1 child is ironical. People will not have more children simply because the CM asks them to. These decisions based on whether they can afford good housing, healthcare, childcare and education, and whether parents can balance work and family life. If the government is serious about reversing declining fertility, the answer is not an appeal, it is to make raising children easier and more affordable.
