The Wisconsin Elections Commission (WEC) has issued a ruling on the contentious 2025 Spring Election in the Village of Arena, finding that the village trustee ballot was unlawfully arranged.

While the WEC found probable cause for the statutory violation regarding the second drawing, they dismissed allegations that the initial drawing was intentionally manipulated. This ruling resolves one of three pending election complaints against the former clerk.
