As a beaver, my entire professional life is dedicated to blocking streams, halting flow, and making things wait. So, you can imagine my sheer aristocratic horror when our friends at @MultiversX decided to do the exact opposite and completely eradicate waiting from their network.

Today, September 10, the Supernova upgrade officially reaches Mainnet.

To put it in formal terms, the network has successfully eradicated the "pause." No more waiting for consensus, no more apologizing for loading spinners. The blockchain now moves at true internet scale.

🪵 Blocks every 600 milliseconds (a crisp 10x speedup from 6 seconds).

🪵 Sub-second finality within a shard (under 250ms).

🪵 Cross-shard settlement in roughly 2.4 seconds.

Perhaps the most gentlemanly part of this upgrade? It did not require pricing anyone out of decentralization. $EGLD achieved this blistering speed using the exact same entry-level hardware, run by the same dedicated validators who have kept the network humming since 2020.

A monumental tip of the top hat to the entire ecosystem. You have successfully built a blockchain that simply feels like the internet.
