You don't fall for something as soulless as AI music? Think again. According to Deezer only 3% of users can accurately identify AI music. When we're talking about soulless AI music, we usually only mean bad AI music - but the vast majority of "good enough" still goes unnoticed.

It finds its way into your reels, your stories, your playlists. You might be listening to AI music right now.

And even if you can rely on vibes alone to identify AI vocal songs, it's much more difficult for instrumentals. Yet Jazz, Lofi, Orchestral and Piano genres are widely infested with AI now.

While it's not a sure way to tell AI music apart from human music, here are five red flags to look out for when you find new music you like.

And yes, checking the music for these red flags is tedious work. But it's necessary, because it's too difficult to discern from listening alone.
