CNRE's Eric Wiseman @vtarborist and his team were honored with the L.C. Chadwick Award for Arboricultural Research by the International Society of Arboriculture. Their study, Urban Forestry 2020, shed light on the need for a well-defined professional identity in urban forestry.
Jessica Showalter, who is finishing her degree in forestry, won the Phi Kappa Phi honor society medallion for fall 2024 graduates. The medallion is presented to the graduating senior in each college with the highest grade point average.
