6 hours ago we learned Kyle was ill in hospital, and now he's passed away...

12 hours ago he was racing this weekend in the Coke 600... now he's passed on beyond this world.

Just... inconceivable...

I was never a fan of Kyle, but this just isn't fair. At all. Kyle had so much more to do in NASCAR and made the sport better by simply existing within it.

The loss NASCAR has experienced today is immense. RIP.

Horrible call, awful rules. #NASCAR has gone completely off the rails. This is the reason why I don't watch NASCAR every single week any more. Hill did NOT deserve this win in the slightest.

@Michael95494331 I would say yes. There needs to be a specific rule for the last lap that allow the rolling of recovery vehicles during the end of the race. There is literally no risk to the recovery equipment as any vehicle approaching them will be reducing speed since the race is over.

@Michael95494331 @NASCAR I suppose I agree, but you can only force change by placing the blame on the officials. Any single official on the NASCAR side should be able to recognize that a crash on the last lap does not require a caution.

@NASCAR This is completely unacceptable and needs to be addressed immediately. Stop throwing cautions on the last lap. Roll the fucking recovery vehicles and let the race finish. No driver slows down for cautions on the last lap - let them fucking race, it's literally the bare minimum.

Do better @NASCAR. You have completely ruined any possible image of integrity. Formula 1 officials have more integrity than your horrible officials.
