The funding will open Vermont to a significant increase of infrastructure especially in rural areas. Redevelopment of unused brownfield land. Increased energy security and energy independence and an increase of disaster preparedness measures and more.

In these uncertain times I will also be requesting federal funding to increase the security capacity of all state government softwares to prevent the possibility of cyberattacks to keep all Vermonters safe.

I am pleased to see a President not afraid to stand up against Russia however I do believe there could have been a better navigation. Price increases especially in fuel affect not only individuals but also businesses.

Across the globe, oil prices have gone up. The United States has already seen a 3.4% increase in oil prices.

Heating and electricity bills are going up which is why we need to stop relying on foreign powers for our energy. That is why I will be putting forward a request for federal funding to construct and modernise new hydroelectric dams to begin our mission for energy independence.
