In its annual ‘How India Instamarted’ report, Swiggy shared a glimpse of how Indians are using quick commerce, revealing everything from low-cost daily purchases to high-value luxury buys, along with a huge rise in orders from several Tier-II cities.

The report shows that spending on the platform ranged widely, from a Chennai resident who placed 228 separate condom orders, totalling ₹1,06,398, while a Bengaluru user placed an order worth just Rs 10 for a printout.

The quick-commerce company light-heartedly remarked it as “planning ahead”.

Furthermore, Swiggy's report showed that 1 in every 127 orders in Instamart included a condom, and the naughtiest month was September, when condom purchases peaked in the 9th month of the year, surging by 24%.

Another Chennai user became the “Pet Parent of the Year” on Instamart after ordering pet supplies worth ₹2.41 lakh in 2025.

In Hyderabad, a user spent Rs 4.3 lakh on iPhones, while the highest spender clocked purchases worth Rs 22 lakh. A Mumbai user bought gold worth Rs 15.16 lakh in 2025.

Tier-II cities recorded a steep rise in order volumes.

Rajkot led the surge with a tenfold increase in orders compared to the previous year, followed by Ludhiana with seven times growth, and Bhubaneswar reflected a fourfold increase.

Across India, items such as curry leaves, curd, eggs, milk and bananas featured most frequently in repeat orders.

Swiggy shared that one customer in Kochi ordered curry leaves 368 times in a year, nearly once a day. Most users placed orders during two peak windows — between 7 am and 11 am, and again from 4 pm to 7 pm.

As per the report, Mondays were the most popular day for gifting on Instamart. Another noteworthy pick from the report is a Bengaluru customer who spent Rs 68,600 on tips for delivery partners in 2025.

झालावाड़ पुलिस ने 71 तस्करों और उनके सहयोगियों की 107 सम्पत्ति एनडीपीएस के धारा 68 f के तहत कुर्क कराई है । इनका बाजार मूल्य 125 करोड़ है ।सभी संबंधित केस को केस ऑफिसर स्कीम में लिया है । इससे पूर्व में प्रशासन और वन विभाग के अतिक्रमण निरोधी कार्यवाही में पुलिस इमदाद में 50 करोड़ का अतिक्रमण हटा । 18 तस्करों की हिस्ट्रीशीट खोली गई । 10 ईनामी एनडीपीएस के वांछित मुलाजिमों को दूसरे राज्य और जिलों को सुपुर्द किया । पिछले करीब चार माह में 78 NDPS के मुकदमे दर्ज हुए जिसमे करीब 128 लोग गिरफ्तार हुए जिनसे बाजार मूल्य की 12 करोड़ की ड्रग्स और वाहन जप्त हुए ।

कहा जाता है कि
“खरगोश-सा अपराध कछुआ-सा न्याय,
एक दिन बंद हो जाएगा यह भी अध्याय.”

अपराध की गति खरगोश जैसी होती है लेकिन अंत में धीमी चाल में चलने वाला न्याय ही कछुए की भांति जीतता है ।
