It doesn’t matter what you do for your airdrop, the reaction on social media will always be negative, here’s why:
-a fixed size airdrop is 0 sum. Anything not received by one person is received by someone else
-there are too many accounts, over 6,000,000 for zksync and LayerZero for example, impossible to make even a small portion of them happy given 0 sum nature. As a bonus, it’s even harder to make them happy when alts have been trading down only for months.
-social media is manipulated by bots
-it has been demonstrated that this manipulation works— many top teams like EtherFi and Eigenlayer have ended up caving to this pressure. From the market’s perspective, BULLYING WORKS

Correcting genuine mistakes seems fine, caving to a mob to redo things is losing to the bots.
