Dear Connections,
Sharing my recent publication from ESWA Journal.
It explores transit stakeholders' perspectives on service quality attributes and finds that they have given higher importance to operational attributes than functional ones.

For the first time ever, clean energy capacity in India has taken the top spot. That’s a 12x expansion over 25 years.
Everyone’s talking about the environmental side of this shift, & that is big, of course, but I think the real story here is grid sovereignty.
Scaling renewables at this pace moves energy away from being a volatile, imported commodity & turns it into a domestic advantage.
When 1.4 billion people pivot their base energy capacity toward clean power, it completely redefines energy security.
Huge milestone for India’s power landscape, & an even bigger blueprint for the rest of the world.
It is a part of my survey methodology design process from PhD wherein I used the knowledge to standardize the Questionnaire for TPE.
The Questionnaire Design & standardization process is presented in #WCTR2023, Canada and will be available shortly.
The article utilizes 4 CAWI survey methods to examine its feasibility in India.
It finds which, why, and how the execution of the 4 methods plays a role in getting large, complete, and usable no. of responses for the Transit Performance Evaluation (TPE).

@VIA_Rail,
I, and my friends are trying to book tickets on your website, but payment keeps failing. We tried several credit cards eligible for international payments. It says to contact our financial institution. Also, sent emails to you but received no reply.
Please suggest.
@luo_or Curious to learn 😊
1. About Fare Free Transit and how this can be achieved by agencies economically?
2. What are the performance measures and their criteria? Can indicators be quantified only to Cost-Benefits or else exists?

How it is going to benefit when the motive of BRTS itself is to provide Exclusive transit service within least infrastructural investments?
If elevated corridors are constructed even for BRTS, then why not go for existing MRTS expansion?

An Another Exciting Project For Hyderabad
Elevated Bus Rapid Transport System (E-BRTS) From KPHB To Financial District Via Narsingi, Hitech City and Kokapet.
While preparing the draft for this and presenting it, had a fascinating idea that further helped me build a methodology for a comprehensive approach in TPE.
P.S: The manuscript on the comprehensive TPE approach is under journal review. Will be sharing soon. 🙂
Sharing my 1st Review Article on Transit Performance Evaluation (TPE) 😊. It discusses how, why, what, when, and which evaluation methods to pick for TPE. Also, generalizes stages in the TPE approach, and Indian practices of doing it.
