Only five minutes into my twitter experience for the day and I find a tweet thread bashing authors. I think that’s a new record. I’m out. Have a good day, everyone.

I’ve seen this tweet all over for the past couple of days and I still don’t get it. Who are you taking advantage of? Your muse?
I’m a planster and don’t have the whole book completely mapped out but I do know what I want to write when I sit down.
@archpaintings Not just in your head. If you don't have an outline before you start writing - you're not a writer. You're just an opportunist, pretending to be a writer.
@SaffiWrites Mostly it’s jealousy & spite. People insult books that are doing well because they think they’re poorly written and don’t deserve the fame while they have a perfect book that can’t get an agent. I’ve learned a long time ago not to talk about my books here. No one is happy for you
Did you know my updated instructions on how to make a full wrap paperback cover using Canva has been viewed over 3,000 times since I wrote it in June of 2022? If you ever want to make your own covers, bookmark this post! #bookcovers#WritingCommunity

Close 3rd person POV is one of the most common novel perspectives—& one of the most misunderstood. It seems easy at first, but I’ve seen this POV trip many writers up.
Here are the most common things I see authors struggle w/ in close 3rd person novels, & how to fix them. A 🧵:
@marienettist @McconnellEryn I have all my books in KU and also have a subscription. I have no idea what you’re talking about. I’ve been publishing for 7 years and have had fewer than 5 returns. Returns are a part of the business and not anything you can avoid.
@marienettist @McconnellEryn I don’t know what you mean by return? People with KU subscriptions can only have 20 books in their library at a time so they will be returning your book regardless. If you enroll in KU people who buy won’t be your audience. You’ll be directing your marketing toward KU readers
I don’t know if I understand. Are these songs that the author listens while they write to or songs that catch the vibe of the book? Or both?
Nobody wants to hear what I listen to. 😂
I’ve had a rough few weeks and social media has been hard to deal with because I don’t have the energy so I thought I’d remind you of a few books I have starting with How to Ruin a Wedding….
My Best Friend’s Wedding but with a happy ending. It’s in audio too!
@Weaver_of_tale too bad. my books are available there but i guess I don't point readers in that direction. all my books are in KU and that's where I get the most sales.
