AURUM MIGRATION ANNOUNCEMENT — BASE TO ETH

Following a comprehensive strategic review, AURUM will be migrating from BASE to Ethereum as we position the protocol for its next phase of growth.

What have we identified.

As Aurum has continued to develop across both product and business, we engaged a third party forensic team to conduct a detailed on chain analysis of the token’s performance and holder base.

This process has given us clear visibility into structural issues within the current environment. The data showed a concentration of short term and opportunistic wallets, consistent sell pressure that did not align with long term growth executed by malicious sniper wallets, and limitations caused by the relatively shallow volume available on BASE.

While the protocol itself has continued to progress well, these external conditions have made it difficult to scale the token in a way that properly reflects the underlying business.

This migration is a direct result of those findings.

Introducing Aurum V2.

Aurum V2 represents a step forward in how we approach growth, structure, and positioning.

We are moving away from a meme leaning brand, towards a protocol first identity that reflects what Aurum is becoming, a revenue generating DeFi solution focused on unlocking liquidity through locked LP infrastructure.

At the same time, the team behind Aurum has grown exponentially. The technical team has expanded, business development and partnerships have accelerated, and marketing is being built upon continually.

Why ETH?

Migrating to Ethereum allows Aurum to operate in a deeper and more mature liquidity environment, attract more aligned long term participants, build on a stronger foundation and distribute the $AURUM airdrop to campaign participants.

Work on the protocol continues throughout this transition. We are actively working on preparing some of our largest rollouts.
-Onboarding additional LP partners onto the platform
-Launching our OTC marketplace for whitelist based LP trading
-Rolling out P2P lending secured by locked LP positions.
All whilst we continue to refine the DApp and improve our user experience.

How do you participate in the migration process?

All current holders will be able to migrate their tokens to Aurum V2 on a one to one basis.

To participate, holders must send their AURUM tokens to the official migration wallet within ten days of this announcement. Tokens acquired after this announcement will not be eligible.
