Have a say on the Amendment of the Gauteng Township Economic Development Amendment Bill, 2023.
The Bill amends the 2022 Act to align with policy intentions and correct previous shortcomings. It seeks to promote inclusive economic growth, especially in deprived township areas. It also introduces clearer definitions and expands the scope of township economic development.
🏭 As tabled in the @GautengDED Budget Vote, the Vaal SEZ is a key driver of industrial growth and township revitalisation.
📍 This year’s focus:
✅ Township proclamation
✅ Bulk infrastructure design
