Australian discovers Texas Roadhouse…

First, he calls it a “fancy restaurant,” and he couldn’t be more wrong. Texas Roadhouse isn’t just a fancy ole restaurant. It’s a giant slice of heaven brought down to earth.

This man loves the bread, the free refills, the service.

In response to those outside the US complaining about tipping there: “You don’t have to tip… you WANT to tip. These are the most wonderful people on earth.”

“I don’t even know why some of you Americans are so angry all the time; you guys have Texas Roadhouse in your country.”

Our 10 days in the Midwest come to a close. Now we move on to Texas for the next part of our great US World Cup Road Trip 🇺🇸

Things I’ve learnt along the way:

- Your weather is not to be messed with
- Your sunsets are stunning
- Your beer is fantastic
- Your barbecue is delicious
- Your scenery is beautiful
- Folk have STRONG opinions on barbecue and gas prices
- Biscuits and gravy are definitely
NOT scones and mushrooms

But above all… the people are amazing, true salt of the earth folk and remind me of back home in Yorkshire (a high compliment)

@COSportsNut I don’t know or follow you, but thank you for that. I wore our nation’s uniform for three decades. 18 years under DEM and 12 years under REP Presidents. I have never understood people only feeling pride in our country when “their” person was in power. It is insipid.
