Yes you do! I didn’t mean to come off as dismissive if I did. Rachel goes over all those data points in her debate, as well as other debates.

I’m not understanding the line of reasoning with the last thing you said. Just because she has prior history doesn’t take anything away from her position. It’s not like she’s actively going out hooking up with folks and popping kids out left and right while simultaneously telling people not to. The same goes for me. Instead of addressing what she’s saying, most folks who criticize her just say “what about you?”, using her past against her and it literally makes no sense. That’s what that whole clip was about and the sad part is, he didn’t even include the bit where she gave him an answer.

Regardless of what people believe, it’s not a bad thing for a person to present their views and beliefs for what they want to see change in society. From what I’ve seen, Andrew and Rachel both have a genuine desire to see people thrive and live happy lives, and have perscriptions to achieving those things. Issue us, people just refuse to have an open mind to truly consider what they have to say. It’s ridiculous

I can take this a few steps further. Even if you go decades down the line and we utilized drones in law enforcement, you’d still need infrastructure that helps build and maintain them, be it the power grid or manufacturing plants. Everything when you reduce things down to it’s crudest form relies on the physical labor of men. That’s a simple reality that can’t be denied

Even in society, those preferences don’t hold. You have law enforcement. Swap the standard gender roles of law enforcement and I GARUNTEE YOU crime would increase in every city. You think there are statistically more male cops just because of a preference?? It’s a necessity bro lol

No, quite the opposite. In every society, there is some level of governance and control over the population, and the end goal should be a united and prosperous society that is safe and secure. Men and women have roles that they are better equipped to fulfill and if they shirk those duties, over time, society falls. While I do agree people should have freedom to do what they want to do, there are some things that need to have some boundaries or restrictions.

The only thing you were appealing to here is emotion based on your families experiences generationally. Don’t give me wrong if they had those horrible experiences then I do empathize and I’m sorry for it. However, that does not mean that other women in those same days more largely had those same experiences. While it’s obvious that there are bad men out there there are also good ones as well. You cannot dismiss that.

I’m sorry about your dad as well. Obviously I don’t know what he did, but if it is what I think it was that he probably deserved it.

Setting generational trauma aside within your own family, that is simply not enough of a data pool to reference to validate your reasons while also demanding some legitimate research to be done with my next response. All I done was share my perspective on Brian and Rachel‘s debate and how he failed to contend with her arguments. I’m still yet to hear a legitimate reason that successfully refutes her position

I do understand that, I’ve seen many clips and watched videos and debates about the Wilsons and I can tell you, they give the same energy back that people give them. A lot of them need to hear those truths and off camera, there’s a lot of women who reach out to them and thank them for the discussions. It all starts with talking amicaby about things, and focusing on the content of the position without attacking the person. Circling that point back to Brian and Rachel’s debate, he used personal attacks against Rachel to try and invalidate her position and the end result for him was horrible. He failed miserably.

I will grant you that sometimes, the touch could be a little more delicate, right? But rather than focus on the tone they use, I try and content with the logic and argument that’s being made.

Aside from that, women back in those days were more happy across the board. Frankly, I fail to see how a woman being afforded the luxury of not having to work, staying at home and keeping up with the house is such a bad thing. I’m not saying this should be forced on women, especially in today’s day and age, times are hard. What I am saying is that if women truly believed in equality, they would be fighting for the draft, working men’s jobs, being willing to be providers and protectors, ect.

Simply put, no matter how much litigation we have, men/women equality can never truly be achieved. There are roles that each sex are typically better equipped with fulfilling on each side and denying that as an objective reality is just wild.

Working outside the home and adoption I believe are good things actually. Nobody ever said women shouldn’t ever be in the workforce and there are some cases where we need people to mother children who need it, especially if that woman is incapable of having kids herself, but that doesn’t necessarily mean she should be forced to right? At the end of the day, it’s a choice she makes for herself and the parent on the other side.

Divorce and sex out of wedlock are things that tend to lead towards negative outcomes (I’m telling on myself here). It’a not a bad thing to advocate for a more united family unit that stays together despite hardships. Granted, if I were being physically or mentally abused and that had adverse effects on the kids, thats one thing, but more-so nowadays, people recklessly have sex, have children, and split up. Sadly I’m a statistic, both for marriage/divorce and kids outside of wedlock, which is why I would encourage young folks to take marriage more seriously and not treat sex with such carelessness.

I’m sorry if I got a little off topic there, I just fail to see how people can paint the Wilson’s in such a negative light without offering real reasoning outside of their subjective beliefs.

Currently, there is an imbalance in privileges between the sexes which is a big point of the debate. If feminism is supposed to promote equality, then why are there systemic inequalities among men and women? That’s a fair and valid question.
