After many years of hardship, Syria now has a historic opportunity to recover, rebuild, and prosper. I expressed my confidence in President Al-Sharaa's vision and my belief that, under his leadership, Syria can advance toward greater stability, prosperity, and a brighter future for all its people.

I reaffirmed our support for a stable and united Syria, where the rights of all ethnic and religious communities are protected. We also discussed the importance of Syria playing a constructive role in advancing regional peace and security.

As neighbors, Syria, Iraq, and the Kurdistan Region share many common interests, and there is significant potential to expand economic cooperation for the benefit of all our peoples.

🔴 Attack on Democrat Party Camps Leaves Three Martyrs and Several Wounded.

A drone attack by the Islamic Republic of Iran on the civilian camps of the Kurdistan Democratic Party of Iran @PDKIkurdish @PDKIenglish @PDKI_USA in the Kurdistan Region has resulted in casualties.
On the afternoon of Friday, the 17 of April, the Islamic Republic of Iran launched a new wave of missile and drone strikes against the civilian camps of the Kurdistan Democratic Party of Iran. As a result, a father and son were killed and wounded . In that attack, Shahin Azarbarzin was martyred his father Nader Azarbarzin were wounded.
In a separate attack targeting a unit of the party’s Peshmerga forces, two female Peshmerga fighters named Neda Miri and Samira Allayari were killed, and several other Peshmerga were wounded.

The Iran war has reaffirmed the KRG's status as a key pillar in the U.S. security architecture in the Middle East and, conversely, has reaffirmed the Iraqi government's status as a key node in Iran's regional network.
