Another massive improvement is the out of the box configuration for E2E testing via @cypress_io, which has massively improved the development process by providing a low-friction testing framework.

I'm excited to announce that @Gatsby Advanced Starter has received a new major (v3) update!
This version comes with reusable themes, @MDX, Infinite Scrolling, SEO overhaul, React Query support and unit/integration/e2e testing setup out of the box.
https://t.co/25epLEv4Wz
The starter is now fully powered by @TypeScript but supports pure JS for those who prefer it.
In combination with @GraphQL most type related runtime issues get effectively caught in the development process and allow for a more confident product delivery.
This version also introduces the gatsby-theme-amaranth (https://t.co/0nzHJXuMGO), a mobile optimized stylish blog theme for GatsbyJS equipped with advanced features such as SEO, image optimization, PWA capabilities and infinite scrolling feeds.

@Argishtyfirst@gatsbyjs @jsconf_am If you're making API calls from JS just like from any other webapp, then no rebuilds are required.
If you're using GraphQL based sources from Gatsby itself to embed data into your pages (example: https://t.co/fO1K51pfFb), then you'll have to rebuild.
Check out how #GatsbyJs can help you develop high-performing progressive web apps in a short time!! #jsconf2018✌️✌️😎

It's worth noting that even in the "beta" release state, everything is very stable so far.
Merge also contains bugfixes and QOL improvements.
@Jan_DHollander@gatsbyjs @NetlifyCMS AFAIK Gatsby v2 is still in beta (https://t.co/YZTE1npbpN), but I plan on porting my starters in the coming week.
Of course those ports won't be featured on the master branch until Gatsby v2 gets officially released.
I'm happy to announce version 1.2 of @gatsbyjs Material Starter!
Update includes:
- @NetlifyCMS support
- Optimization of all assets via gatsby-image for faster load times
- New date formatting features

@PUBATTLEGROUNDS Hey there!
The news about incoming region lock broke out. Do you guys plan to implement it based on geographic location or ping?
I am being defaulted to AS servers now, but I have by far the worst ping to them.
