🚨 72-year-old Mahvash Sabet, a member of the persecuted Bahá'í community in Iran, is being denied critical medical care while imprisoned in Tehran’s Evin Prison. Sabet, who suffers from a severe lung disease, requires specialized treatment that cannot be provided in prison, according to a family source who spoke to HRANA. Despite her deteriorating health, authorities have refused to transfer her to a medical facility. Sabet is currently serving a 10-year sentence on sham charges of "organizing a group under a deviant sect with the intent to disrupt national security.” 👉 Baha'is are the largest unrecognized religious minority in Iran and have been systematically persecuted by the Islamic Republic since its establishment in 1979 simply for practicing their faith.
