Parents prefer to buy mango frooty, slice and maza like drinks for their children instead of coca cola, thums up and pepsi like drinks to save them from ill effects of the later. But alas! The former drinks are as harmful as the later ones.... The children gets hooked on sugar and the result is a pandemic of cardiac diseases (health organisations calling India a ticking time bomb for heart attack) and diabetes.

These drinks should come with labels like 100%sugar, drink at your own risk, may cause cancer...

The chemical used in the video to expose the adulteration is a common household detergent liquid (Rin brand in these experiments).

When added and stirred, it decolorizes the bright orange in the packaged "mango juice" (turning it pale), because the color comes from synthetic azo dyes like Tartrazine (E102) or Sunset Yellow (E110). These break down easily with surfactants in detergent.

एक विमर्श बहुत समय से छाया हुआ है कि क्या सिविल सेवा परीक्षा की तैयारी में लाखों युवा अपने यौवन की आहुति नहीं दे रहे? इससे बेहतर होता कि वो इस ऊर्जा को किसी अन्य दिशा में अग्रसर करते जिससे देश को भी लाभ (जनसांख्यिकीय लाभांश) होता और उन्हें भी एक बेहतर जीवन मिलता।

मेरा मानना है कि देश के युवा को देश को बहुआयामी ढंग से समझने के लिए सिविल सेवा परीक्षा के पाठ्यक्रम को छः मा�� तो देना ही चाहिए। इससे वो एक विचारशील मनुष्य बनेंगे। राष्ट्र को जागरूक नागरिक मिलेंगे जो बेहतर तरीके से राष्ट्र निर्माण में अपना कंधा लगा पाएँगे। अतः सिविल सेवा परीक्षा के प्रति मोह पद और उससे जुड़े लाभ न होकर राष्ट्र के विभिन्न आयामों की समझ विकसित करनी होनी चाहिए।

(ठीक वैसे ही, इन युवाओं को छह मास के लिए एक सुरक्षाबल के जवान का जीवन भी बिताने के लिए अवसर देना चाहिए जिससे उनके भीतर एक अनु���ासन विकसित हो जिससे वो अपने ऊर्जा को सही दिशा दे पाएँ।)

युवाओं को किसी भी प्रतियोगी परीक्षा को ज्यादा से ज्यादा एक वर्ष देना चाहिए, उसके उपरांत खुद को किसी अर्थोपार्जन में लगाना चाहिए।

कुल मिलाकर देखें तो इस उद्यम में एक वर्ष की समय सीमा रहे और लक्ष्य रहे राष्ट्र को बहुआयामी ढंग से जानने-समझने की। इस प्रकार राष्ट्र की युवा शक्ति का क्षय होने से थम जाएगा।

इनमें से ही कई युवा कालांतर में अच्छे शोधकर्ता भी बनेंगे और व्यवसायी भी और शायद राजनेता भी।
